We had Luke's 1 year appt. today. Boy, was that fun (insert sarcasm here)
As of today, the Boy is 32 inches long (95th percentile) and 23 lbs. 2 oz. (just over the 50th). So, as we already knew, he's a long, lean drooling machine!!
He had 3 shots at the end, not so fun, but he cried, and then played mighty hard when we got home. We will be starting to include Whole Milk into his diet, we'll start by mixing it with formula and phasing that out. Once this is done, we'll ditch the bottles, going solely to sippy cup.
He will get tested for anemia and lead levels, we just need to take him to the lab.
We learned the fine art of the "time out" which we will probably start using very soon as our child is a biter. Yes, a biter. She told us what to do, which is basically what we learned on Supernanny, I just didn't realize he'd be able to comprehend this young, but apparently, he can. It will be a learning process, but he will learn.
And they gave us a recommendation for a pediatric dentist, which we may take them up on b/c this office gives free first exams to babies. :)
So, that's the scoop on the little poop(er). :)
