And now he's 2.

yikes!! Where did the last 2 years go??
On Wednesday we headed to Wisconsin Dells for a couple days at the Kalahari. http://kalahariresort.com/wi/ for those who aren't familiar. It was really fun and Lucas enjoyed it immensely. As did Tim and I. We have many pictures. His birthday started out with a little Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Breakfast was enjoyed at Paul Bunyons http://www.paulbunyans.com/ . Then we hit the pools for a bit. Then lunch and a nap. I think lunch may have primarily consisted of Goldfish crackers though. He's pretty one-minded when it comes to the fish. We went swimming again in the afternoon. Then went to the Tanger Outlet Mall and did a little shopping. We met up with Grandma and Grandpa Schroeder there and "Built a bear". well, a dog actually. Lucas had a bit of an "issue" outside the Disney store as he wanted to carry (a/k/a - drag) the bag of purchases, however, since none of the bags contents were actually for Lucas, we felt it best not to destroy the contents and took it from him. This resulted in a massive meltdown, and much kicking and scratching. Time outs were had and eventually he relaxed. The dog was built, however, Lucas seemed a wee bit more interested in the sound effect machine.
Then we went to dinner (where we had a battle of the "mines" vs. Not Lucas' - a/k/a 3 more timeouts) and eventually fully enjoyed the meals. Then we went back to the hotel and relaxed while Lucas played under a table. Yes, under.
This morning we went swimming and Grandpa and Grandma S. joined us for a bit. Then we did McD's for lunch and back to the hotel for what we thought would be a really cool opportunity for a picture with a baby Kangaroo. Unfortunately, the price tag attached to said picture was not that cool... So, no picture was to be had.
Then we had a uh, Code Yellow (a/k/a - diaper leak) and an allergic reaction to something, not sure what, which required an unexpected trip to Walmart for Childrens Benedryl. We picked up Samantha at the Pet Retreat, went and got some coffee with Grandma and Grandpa prior to coming back here to Onalaska where we now sit. :)
Pictures will be updated tomorrow for your viewing pleasure.

Happy Birthday Lucas.
Normally if you were in Ona, I would say lets meet up. But.....I have "Nurse" duties, so that probably won't work so well:)
Have a fun rest of your trip.
